What could indicate the appearance - or the absence - of the members of the royalty on the balcony of the Palace
On the balcony of Buckingham Palace, King Charles III and Queen Camilla waved to the crowd below, flanked by pages with other members of the royal family further afield, surprising some CNN analysts.
"I was hoping to see a dynasty moment and see King and Queen Camilla flanked by the Welsh, by Prince William and Princess Kate," CNN's Julia Chatterly said.
Kate and William were "crammed into a corner," said British historian Kate Williams. "It is a television moment, it is going around the world. It is intended to symbolize before the world what the monarchy is. The message is very clear: they are King Carlos and Camila; all the others are reinforcements."
"For me it symbolizes the fact that Carlos was overshadowed for a large part of his life by his mother, then by his wife and then by his children. And he wants to be the protagonist," he said.
"At that moment I felt that the rest of the family was cornered, that the spotlights shouldn't shine on anyone but the Kings," said Trisha Goddard, a British television presenter.
For her part, the American writer Sally Bedell Smith affirmed that these theories are "the opposite of the message" that was sent throughout the coronation ceremony, but pointed out that the family could have "needed a choreographer" for the shot of the balcony.
